For the third month in a row, the Institute for Supply Management’s Manufacturing PMI Report indicated an expanding U.S. manufacturing sector.

That flies in the face of all the doom and gloom of just a few weeks ago, when the latest jobs figures were used for a seemingly coordinated attempt to paint the supposed state of our industry as evidence of the failure of Trump’s policies.

Countless outlets breathlessly repeated the narrative that manufacturing job losses were a plain indicator that tariffs and other administration moves were undermining America’s industrial sector.
